Who we are
Altus Performance Institute LLC (“Altus Performance”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides golf coaching and performance services and runs altusperformance.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you give us.
- When you contact us through our website, we collect the service you are interested in, your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, home city, home club, age, performance history, recent performance, instruction history, your reason for seeking coaching with us, and any comments.
- When you download a free guide or sign up for our emails, we collect your email address.
- When you email or call us, we keep what you send us and the details we need to answer you.
Text-message program. For our pre-round briefing text messages (sent only to Altus Performance coaches and staff who agreed to receive them) we collect the recipient’s name, mobile phone number, email address, the date they agreed to receive messages, and the messages we send them.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site receives basic technical information needed to deliver and protect it (such as your browser, device and IP address) and uses cookies that the site needs to work, for example to keep our forms secure. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and automated abuse; Google’s use of the information it collects is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and tell you about the coaching and services you asked about.
- To provide our coaching and performance services to the people who sign up for them.
- To send the free guide, emails and updates you asked for. You can stop emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in them.
- To send the pre-round briefing texts and emails to the coaches and staff who agreed to receive them, and to keep a record of that agreement.
- To keep our website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
Text messages
Our text-message program is described in our SMS Terms and Conditions and is for Altus Performance coaches and staff only. People join only by texting the keyword START to our number, as explained at how to sign up. A phone number you give us on a website form is used only to answer you; we do not add it to a text-message list and we do not send marketing or promotional text messages to it.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, text-message opt-in data or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business and deliver our messages, and only so they can do that work for us: our website hosting and security providers, our email provider and email-list service, our text-messaging provider (Twilio), and Google reCAPTCHA. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Other websites
Our website links to services run by others, such as our online course, our podcast, our shop and our social media pages. They have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above and for as long afterwards as the law requires. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@altusperformance.com.

- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text message.
- Your information: email info@altusperformance.com to ask to see, correct or delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
